The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time world title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is really proceeding.
